Damahi
Damahi is known for a musical style that blends a diverse range of genres, including Iranian folk music from the coastal regions of southern Iran, jazz, rock, reggae, flamenco, Afrobeat, Latin, funk, Indian music and more.
Formed in 2014, the band features a talented line-up of Dara Daraee on bass, Hamzeh Yeganeh on keyboards and Benjou, Ebrahim Alavi on guitar and oud, and Reza Koolaghani on vocals.
Vaak Records has partnered with Damahi on various projects, including their performance at the EFG London Jazz Festival 2023, and proudly represents the band in the UK. This collaboration highlights their talent and innovative approach, earning them significant recognition in the music industry.
