Souls: A Single by Kabud
Our new single Souls is now available on all popular streaming platforms. It’s written by Kabud and performed by artists inside Iran (who have to remain anonymous for security reasons) to remind us not to forget.
This piece draws inspiration from the recent Iranian people's movement that began in September 2022 with the slogan "Woman Life Freedom" following the death of Mahsa Amini while in police custody.
The voice of the young people who lost their lives in this movement has been incorporated throughout the piece to remind us of the ongoing relevance of the movement. We will not forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice for this cause.
